Hatha Yoga Class on Saturday mornings 8.15-9.15 am at the lovely Headgate Theatre in Colchester. During August 2021 - Class will be at The Tree Room.
Hatha Yoga creates balance and harmony, so that energy, the body, thoughts, and breath find connection and space.
As a slow moving class, the practice is accessible to beginners/returners to yoga and anyone who enjoys taking quiet time to let the body unwind from the natural stresses that accrue through every day life. Postures, at times, are held for a few breaths, which can either bring strength to muscles, joints, and ligaments, or give muscles a chance to release or stretch. This time of stillness helps tap into the "feeling" of yoga and its benefits.
Participants often feel relaxed, more open and more connected with their body after a Hatha Yoga class. It's a nice class to help feel centred and calm.
Modifications and options for postures are offered throughout the class, so you can personalise the movement to feel right for you.
Anyone can drop into class anytime.
